Volunteer at Christmas House

Christmas House offers parents from qualifying, low-income, Snohomish County families the opportunity to visit our "store" in December and select gifts for their children age 0-18. In 2007 we helped put smiles on the faces of over 8,300 children from 2,895 families.

Christmas House is a 100% volunteer organization. We need hundreds of volunteers to help us make Christmas House a success each year. Volunteers should be age 12 and older to help with move-in/move-out and age 16 or older to help when the "store" is open to shoppers.

The majority of volunteers help when the "store" is open during December, but there are opportunities throughout the year when volunteers are also needed. In December volunteers help us move boxes and merchandise, set up the store, assist shoppers as they select gifts, provide translation help, input data into computers, stock tables and racks, bag up selections, and help shoppers to their vehicles. During the year volunteers help by collecting clean, gently-used coats, sweaters or sweatshirts; holding fundraisers or new coat/toy drives; and packing the gifts that are purchased all year long into boxes at the storage areas.

  • If you would like to be on our mailing list to receive our October newsletter and emails when we need help, please submit the form below.
  • If you'd like to help with move-in, move-out, or work a shift in December when the "store" is open, please check our website again in October. During December 2008, Christmas House will be held at the North Everett Boys and Girls Club, 2316-12th Street, Everett, WA.

The gift of your time is valuable in making Christmas House happen each year. We invite you to join us!
