Child opening giftThe Facts

Christmas House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, established in 1981 and registered in Washington state. We provide toys and essentials to low income families during the holidays. Christmas House is operated by 100% volunteer staff, who put their lives on hold to help others at one of the busiest times of the year. For two and one-half weeks in December, Christmas House is located in Everett, Washington, in the Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish County gymnasium, 2316-12th Street. Christmas House is administered by a Board of Directors and staffed by hundreds of volunteers during the Christmas season.

Recent Statistics

In 2023, 8,230 children, newborns through age 18, from 2,940 families received gifts, toys, books and hats/gloves during December when Christmas House opened its “store” for two and one-half weeks in a gym at the Everett Boys & Girls Club in North Everett. We serve children from families who reside only within Snohomish County. The demand for our services is such that we are unable to expand outside the county at this time. Our families came from twenty cities, plus unincorporated Snohomish County.

Over the years our organization has increased the quantity and quality of toys that help low-income families provide a joyous Christmas for their children. This is all made possible through the generosity of hundreds of people that donate gifts/money and volunteer their services, time and talents.
